Warning guild split ahead?

I just heard that part of my current guild has split of into another guild.

Time will tell what the effects will be, but it seems I wasn’t the only one not happy with how things were going. I’m interested though in seeing how the current officers are trying to manage this (in order to learn from it). Unfortunately, I’m not actually playing the game, so I can only learn from the things that get posted to the guild forum and not from what actually is being said ingame.. (and forum posts by officers has severely been lacking lately).

Also it seems this is not entirely uncommon at the moment, since reading the Realm forum shows that other guilds (e.g. WMC, The Nefarious) have disbanded and some people are quitting, moving to another server, etc.
Anyway, both June and July are still very busy months for me, so I’ll probably not start playing again before August. We’ll see what happens in the mean time.
